It’s quite simple to pick up a low cost air compressor at the local shop any longer. But, how will you get the air from the compressor to your application? Connectors and couplers are certainly not all alike. Different manufacturers have differing styles plus they are not usually interchangeable. Copper water pipe won’t corrosion, and there are many than sufficient adapters offered to convert through the soldered (sweated) copper to some line.
If deciding on an over head main, know the longer the availability line towards the application, the better pressure reduction there will be. Every elbow and each turn results in a loss in available pressure in your application, so make smsvxo air primary the size of sensible. How large? Why not 3″‘ copper pipe at the ceiling and 3/4″ copper decrease lines for your home workshop?
Remember that PVC or RVC air garden hose dimensions are determine in the I.D. A 1/2″ air hose may have a 1/2″ I.D., regardless of the O.D. of the line. Different air line producers may have garden hose with various wall structure density, and so the external diameters can vary.
For connecting Pvc material or RVC air garden hose together, you can utilize the aforementioned couplers and connectors.
